Western societies have trouble associating children with fighting, youth with violence; which makes Denis Rouvre’s images of child boxers in Thailand all the more striking. This series was produced between 2013 and 2015. The subjects were photographed as soon as they left the ring, when the intensity of the fighting can still be seen in their pounding, sweat-stained bodies.
