Pernod Ricard contracted Australian photographer Vee Speers to design its 2013/2014 Annual Report’s photo campaign, allocating eighteen of its employees to her for this purpose. Using the idea of transmission as her theme, Speers created nine diptych works, each containing the portraits of two Group employees. In their day-to-day professional lives, each pair is united by their shared expertise, transmission of knowledge, or a similar activity. Vee Speers reinterprets their stories in nine gracious, subtly different poses. Although the subjects of these photographs come from different countries, work in different company branches, and have different occupations, they have one thing in common: each of them is one of Pernod Ricard’s 18,000 “creators of conviviality”.
